Our
Manifesto
We are the faces of volleyball.
We are teams, players, coaches, parents, and communities, all committed to bettering the lives of the people we touch.
We are the goodness, power, and unity of our sport. We understand the limitless potential of athletes is reached when we better the ball and help the next person succeed.
We give the gift of opportunity: to come together, to be a voice for the underserved, and to inspire and create better, brighter futures.

Taking Action As A Sport
At Side-Out, we’ve dedicated ourselves to building programs that help teams within the sport of volleyball build memorable, inspirational, and impactful experiences while giving student-athletes a platform to turn their efforts into action, advocacy, and impact.
We Harness the Power of Volleyball to Spark Action
We see time and time again what the sport of volleyball can do when it comes together with a common goal in mind. Side-Out’s programs provide the unique opportunity for teams to unite with others in solidarity behind a common cause.
We Turn Athletes Into Advocates
Athletes who participate with us become educated about stage IV breast cancer, hold fundraisers in their communities, and learn to be a voice for others, setting them up to become life-long advocates for those living with stage IV.
We Impact Stage IV Breast Cancer
Through our programs Dig Pink® and The Dig-A-Thon, the volleyball community sponsors our clinical trials at renowned medical institutions across the country. The Side-Out Protocol uses a unique approach that is successfully extending the lives of those living with stage IV breast cancer.
The Impact Playbook
Our Impact Guarantee
We guarantee that our programs will help you build a memorable experience that will inspire and produce maximum impact on your athletes, the people within your community, and on stage IV breast cancer.
