Febraury 16-18, 2008, DC Convention Center: The Metro American Volleyball Club graciously donated some sign-age and table space at its 2nd Annual Capitol Hill Classic Volleyball Tournament this past President’s Day weekend. 300 teams from all over the country were represented; it was a great chance for us to get the word out. Most of my day was spent working the tournament and coaching so getting out to the masses was tough for me. But my father came out on the first day to go out and market the tournament and pass out some of the Livestrong bracelets and bandannas that were donated to us by the Lance Armstrong Foundation. He had a chance to talk to the vendors and pass out flyers to the players who were milling about the convention center. Hits on our website are up a bit, so I must believe we had a successful venture.
