What is the Dig-A-Thon?
The Dig-A-Thon is a Side-Out Foundation campaign designed to unite club volleyball teams with a goal of accomplishing 150,000 digs in honor of the 150,000 individuals living with stage IV breast cancer in the U.S. Teams, individuals, and tournaments can easily incorporate the Dig-A-Thon into their club season.
It is a $-for-dig model where family, friends, and fans can pledge to donate for each dig your team completes. For each dig completed, you are supporting Side-Out’s cutting-edge clinical research, The Side-Out Protocol, which is adding precious time to the lives of those living with stage IV breast cancer.
Through Side-Out’s programs, such as our school initiative Dig Pink, the volleyball community sponsors our clinical trials at renowned medical institutions across the country. We hope that our club initiative, the Dig-A-Thon, will be just as successful and we need your help doing it!
