2019 brought many new opportunities for the foundation to grow, with new passionate partnerships and new teams starting their Dig Pink tradition. To help these new and existing teams build even more impactful events and help guide them through the process, we developed a Dig Pink Packet that we mailed to volleyball programs all across the United States.

The focus of the year was to connect with teams who believe in what we at the foundation are doing to push stage IV breast cancer research forward. By narrowing this focus, we’re able to better connect with new teams and helped grow the passion for this cause.

As our clinical study winds down in the summer of 2020, we have new projects on the horizon.

As we evaluate all of the data, we know that our work will provide us with some critical information and data that will tell us more about the impact of precision medicine on people who have just contracted stage IV breast cancer. This science will eventually help provide additional options to the masses, while improve the quality of life and adding time to those with stage IV breast cancer.

Looking forward to 2020, we hope to build upon the Dig-A-Thon and the Ambassador Program, continue to spread the word about the incredible work sport of volleyball is doing to help others, and take on new challenges that will better the foundation and provide better experiences for our supporters.
