Why They Love

“For us, the event goes deeper than raising funds for metastatic breast cancer research. It represents the Fight of ALL OF our friends and family members against cancer. We battle on the courts to honor their courage, and their struggle to embark on a journey for survival every single day to win against the disease. Raising funds for the Side-Out Foundation unites us all in this fight.”
Jadwiga Graham
Program Director of Thunderbolt Volleyball Club

“A great game; a great cause; bringing together great communities. This group is making a real difference in bringing precision medicine to the phase of the disease where it is needed most. We will one day call the last point in the final set as we side-out breast cancer once and for all”
Gary Thompson
St. Andrews Episcopal Parent

“Our annual volleyball fundraiser represents a meaningful legacy that continues to shape both me and our players. Our partnership with the Side-Out Foundation is deeply personal—we witness how every dollar directly supports vital breast cancer research and makes a real difference. Side-Out transforms our athletes into passionate advocates, teaching them selflessness and the importance of supporting others in their fight. Partnering with local communities to unite against breast cancer fills me with pride, and watching Side-Out’s continued evolution and its impact on instilling compassion in our players year after year demonstrates the true power of our collective effort.”
