LET'S DIG PINK®
IN PENNSYLVANIA!
Host a Dig Pink Event and Support Life Extending Breast Cancer Research
Uniting volleyball with a powerful mission: Transforming cancer care for and give those living with metastatic breast cancer a brighter future.
Bring More Meaning to
Your Volleyball Season
Dig Pink makes a real difference for players, patients, and communities. Each event raises funds that directly support our revolutionary research program and spreads word of our mission to the people in your community who could use our support. If you’re ready to make a real difference, a Dig Pink event is the perfect opportunity to gain advocacy and community organizing skills by harnessing the sport you love to make a big impact.
How Does
Work?
Connect with your Rep
Select a time for a Dig Pink Kick-off call. We’ll tell you about us, get to know you, go over the tools and the process. We’ll teach you everything you need to know
Gather Stakeholders
Identify parents, administrators, coaches, etc. who can help you put on your event. Select a date, organize and assign tasks, and outline your event plan.
Put Your Advocacy into Action
Engage your community leading up to your event. Notify your opponents, school, coaches, players, and parents to build excitement and kick off your fundraising!
Unite your Community
All your hard work is helping Side-Out change the way breast cancer is treated and is giving young people the opportunity to make a difference. That’s worth celebrating and sharing with your community.
Why They Love
“For us, the event goes deeper than raising funds for metastatic breast cancer research. It represents the Fight of ALL OF our friends and family members against cancer. We battle on the courts to honor their courage, and their struggle to embark on a journey for survival every single day to win against the disease. Raising funds for the Side-Out Foundation unites us all in this fight.”
Jadwiga Graham
Program Director of Thunderbolt Volleyball Club
“A great game; a great cause; bringing together great communities. This group is making a real difference in bringing precision medicine to the phase of the disease where it is needed most. We will one day call the last point in the final set as we side-out breast cancer once and for all”
Gary Thompson
St. Andrews Episcopal Parent
“I am so proud of bringing a new spirit and tradition into our school with Dig Pink. We were all in for this one teacher, and I believe that our community was using our passion and love for sports to help the people around us. I am so proud of bringing a new spirit and tradition into our small school with Dig Pink.”
