The setter fatigue drill run by UCLA women’s coach Mike Sealy has two purposes – the first is to make the setter focus on delivering a perfect ball when fatigued. The second is to make the hitters better the ball and keep it in play no matter the quality of set.
How it works – the setter starts on the ten-foot line, and the coach tosses balls for them to set in rapid succession. The setter alternates setting balls to the right side and left side. To get out of the drill, the attackers must hit 25 balls over the net, in the court.
