Oregon State women’s volleyball coach Terry Liskevych runs a simple zone serving drill that applies game-like pressure and intensity to the routine of serving which can ultimately help make volleyball players better.
Players start at the end line and serve one after another to a specific area of the court. The collaborative goal is to hit 8 consecutive serves in the designated location. A missed serve knocks the count back to zero.
While simple in design, the drill can keep your team ready to seize the moment in a game situation. Please watch the video where Coach Liskevych demonstrates the drill.
