Leia Pequignet

Leia is an international student from Paris who is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communication at George Mason University. Concentrating in public relations, Leia has been involved in a lot of creative projects and campaigns such as the 2019 Drive Like You Work Here National Work Zone Awareness Week campaign for the Virginia Department of Transportation. She is also currently assisting the PR and Design department of George Mason’s Student Media Office, and volunteering as a PR staff for the literary magazine on campus. Growing up, Leia has always been dedicated to helping others and is glad to be able to work for a meaningful nonprofit that seeks to make a difference in the lives of those living with stage IV breast cancer. Outside of school, Leia sings, plays piano, and enjoys writing songs.
