A great PET scan result showing that the present chemo regimen is working! No better news than that. The good news keeps me Living With Cancer with a positive frame of mind!
It is fleeting but we all need to know that if we have the strength to want to beat this disease we accept these fleeting good feelings for as long as we can and keep going. I’ve been fighting this disease for 11 years from initial discovery to the recurrence 4 years ago when I was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer. My recurrence was discovered on the skin. All you women out there make sure you see your dermatologist at least once a year. My dermo had never experienced breast cancer on the skin. Very few people realize that the skin is an organ where breast cancer can attack. So please be your own advocates and make sure all is well. I probably wouldn’t be doing as well as I am at present were it not found when it was.
